Sarri agrees to become new Juventus manager

Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri, has agreed on terms to take over at Juventus after Pep Guardiola rejected the Italians’ advances, SNAI SportNews reports.
The Serie A side are looking for a new head coach following the announcement that Massimiliano Allegri will leave at the end of the season.
Sarri, who impressed during his time with Napoli, has been widely considered as the frontrunner and is now expected to be given the job after Chelsea’s Europa League final against Arsenal on Wednesday.
Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho were also reported as options for Juventus, but Sarri has already reached an agreement with the club to replace Allegri.
It is believed that Sarri will earn £6.1million a year on a three-year contract.

Manchester United are through to the last eight of the Champions League, following their 3-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men were trailing 2-0 from the first leg at home and travelled to France without 11 senior players. However, Romelu Lukaku opened scoring within two minutes for United, pouncing on a defensive mistake to slot home. PSG levelled after Kylian Mbappe found space in the box to tee up Bernat. But Lukaku ensured that the Red Devils went in on top at the break, reacting quickest to Marcus Rashford’s rebound. The hosts struggled to put the tie beyond United, who then went on to grab a late winner through Rashford, following the intervention of Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

Transfer: Pogba takes further step to join Real Madrid

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba is willing to reach a compromise on his wages to secure a move to Real Madrid, according to Mundo Deportivo. Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane, had voiced his admiration of Pogba since he returned to the Santiago Bernabeu in March. Also United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has repeatedly stated his intention to rebuild his United side around Pogba. However, the World Cup winner’s agent, Mino Raiola is said to be looking to engineer a move away for United’s record signing. The Spanish outlet claimed that Madrid chiefs are not prepared to meet Pogba’s £290,000 per week wages at Old Trafford.
