Valencia shock Barcelona in Copa del Rey final

Valencia have ended Barcelona’s four-year run of winning the Copa del Rey, with a shock 2-1 victory over the champions on Saturday night.
Barca were looking to win the competition for the fifth year in a row, a feat that has been achieved in Spain before.
However, Valencia took a two-goal lead in the first half, to stun Lionel Messi and co.
Kevin Gameiro and Rodrigo scored within 10 minutes, to put Marcelino Garcia’s men in control of the game.
Although Messi pulled one back in the second half, Valencia held on to win the trophy.
Barca, who were dumped out of the Champions League by Liverpool, now have to settle for LaLiga and the Supercopa.
